Fleet, Insights & Tools team is an internal engineering team focussing on developing and maintaining test automation infrastructure, frameworks, and tools to ensure high-quality feature development and seamless testing that bolsters and streamlines the development cycle of FlashBlade and FlashArray products and features. As an automation Frameworks & Tools Engineer, you will work with all internal engineering teams to avoid any bottlenecks in our testing and delivery processes. Engineers in the ORE organization possess excellent communication and analytical skills, with a mix of software, systems, and data science expertise. They are passionate about designing and building great services and have experience with building tools, services, and automation to manage and improve our operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop automated test framework for software-based all-flash storage arrays
• Lead/participate in the design and development of infrastructure, tools & automation for our automated testing environments
• Build debug tools and analyze test failures across a multi-machine hardware/software stack within a continuous integration automation framework
• Analyze and solve challenging problems through persistence and insight
• Work as a team with smart peers who inspire you and who are inspired by you
• Make customers really happy, because that’s why we do what we do
• Learn a ton, whether you know a lot, or nothing about system software
• You will be based in Bengaluru, India. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office.

What You’ll Need To Bring To This Role...

8+ years experience using Python, Go, Java, C, C++ or related programming languages (< 1 year experience? We have special opportunities for you! Please apply directly to our University roles on our careers page)

Experience in any number of related systems software projects e.g: Distributed systems, Operating systems, Linux Kernel, Database internals, Hypervisors, Containers, Compiler Optimization, etc.

Proven design sensibility and the willingness to work in a collaborative, team oriented environment

A BS degree in Computer Science; Advanced degrees are a bonus!

Must be willing and able to work in an open office environment.
