Job Summary

As a Senior Associate in the Quality Engineering practice at PwC, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and execution of mobile test automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality deliverables across iOS and Android platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver exceptional digital experiences to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute end-to-end testing of mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms.
  • Design and develop mobile automation frameworks using tools such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or other industry-standard tools.
  • Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Review and optimize test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure testability.
  • Perform regression, performance, usability, and exploratory testing of mobile apps.
  • Provide technical mentoring to junior QA engineers and assist in capacity planning for automation initiatives.
  • Work closely with clients to align QA deliverables with business goals and SLAs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in mobile application testing and test automation.
  • Strong proficiency in mobile test automation tools such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Detox, or similar.
  • Proficient in programming/scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or Swift/Kotlin.
  • Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience working with mobile device testing platforms like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or Firebase Test Lab.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile application architecture, APIs, and debugging tools (e.g., Charles Proxy, Android Studio, Xcode).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in testing Salesforce Mobile Apps, React Native, or Flutter-based applications.
  • Familiarity with mobile performance testing tools like JMeter, Firebase Performance, or Xcode Instruments.
  • ISTQB/Certified Agile Tester or other testing certifications.
  • Experience in working with globally distributed teams and managing stakeholder communications.
