The Performance Marketing Team is the engine behind business growth as it handles the majority of marketing activities. This includes targeting the right audience through campaigns, distributing content via channel marketing, conducting a thorough analysis of campaign launches and budgets, and ensuring compliance via surveillance and governance all to maximize results and maintain a competitive edge. Role Summary:
The Manager, Data Analytics and Insights Performance Marketing is an IC role and will deliver the business and organizational priorities, working in close collaboration with US performance Marketing stakeholders and solving the business problems with solutions that are empowered by data. The candidate must be a thought leader, direct problem solver and deliver actionable insights for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage various Growth-Marketing projects as well as assigned extended business initiatives, handling the entire end-to-end project lifecycle from requirement gathering to final delivery.
- Take accountability for effective communication, project and stakeholder management, meeting deadlines, and ensuring product quality and accuracy.
- Develop solution frameworks independently to address business requirements and problem statements.
- Create self-service dashboards that deliver actionable business insights to Process Owners and Leadership teams.
- Maintain existing reports and manage change or fault requests.
- Proactively propose, initiate, and execute projects that drive business impact, including AI use cases that streamline workflows.
- Mentor team members by enhancing their analytical, technical, and functional skills.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
- Bachelors degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in Analytics domain preferably Marketing or Agile, or in lieu of a degree with 5 to 7 years of working experience in Analytics preferably Marketing or Agile domain.
- 3+ Years of experience in SAS and SQL and 1+ Year of experience in Python
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Data visualizations tools such as Tableau to drive insights.
- Healthy understanding of AI applications.
- Strong analytical skill with the ability to interpret data and develop action plans along with storytelling.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to collaborate, articulate and present solutions in simple yet compelling manner and Strong attention to detail, can perform large scale data quality assurance tasks with curiosity and sensitivity to data abnormalities.
Desired Skills/Knowledge:
- Strong problem-solving skills & attention to detail
- Good knowledge on Campaign Execution Process and Agile reporting
- Knowledge on Operational Reporting, Forecasting Techniques and Capacity planning
- Good knowledge in development of AI applications in any medium.
- Familiarity of agile processes
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Business Administration or equivalent
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelors degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in Analytics domain preferably Marketing or Agile, or in lieu of a degree with 5 to 7 years of working experience in Analytics preferably Marketing or Agile domain.
Work Timings:
This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
