Investment Analyst - CA CFA

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Investment Analyst with strong expertise in fundamental research, valuation, and financial modelling to generate actionable investment ideas and support institutional portfolio performance. The ideal candidate will have proven small/mid-cap coverage experience and the ability to deliver differentiated, high-conviction insights.

KRAs

• Generate and evaluate long/short investment ideas across Indian equities.
• Conduct detailed company/sector research including financials, management, governance, and peer benchmarking.
• Build and maintain advanced financial models (DCF, SOTP, NAV, scenario analysis).
• Lead valuations for IPOs, QIPs, and secondary opportunities.
• Prepare investment memos, company reports, and sector outlooks.
• Present and defend recommendations before Investment Committee.
• Track earnings, corporate actions, and macro/industry developments.
• Build relationships with company management, sell-side, and industry experts.
  
  

• Mandatory: Chartered Accountant (CA) and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
• Experience: 5+ years of institutional equity research experience with proven track record in small/mid-cap coverage.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation expertise.
• Proficiency in Excel, VBA, and financial databases (Bloomberg, Reuters, FactSet, CapitalIQ).
• Deep understanding of Ind-AS/IFRS accounting standards, macroeconomic drivers, and Indian regulatory frameworks.
