The Opportunity

When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.

As part of the Integration and Platform Architecture team you lead the migration of applications across data centers and cloud environments. As an Associate you support senior staff in delivering quality work while developing your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the chance to build meaningful client connections, engage in diverse project tasks, and grow your personal brand through continuous learning and adaptability.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the integration and implementation of network cutover strategies
  • Collaborate with team members to confirm seamless application transitions
  • Support the analysis of infrastructure requirements and solutions
  • Engage in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during deployments
  • Contribute to documentation and reporting for project progress
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss project milestones and challenges
  • Utilize analytical skills to evaluate system performance and enhancements
  • Foster productive communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

What You Must Have

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 8 years of experience
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
  • Cloud Certification, VMware certification, AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Leading application migration projects with minimal downtime
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams for migration strategies
  • Developing technical blueprints for infrastructure setup
  • Utilizing discovery tools for application inventory management
  • Managing cloud solutions testing and validation processes
  • Excelling in communication for stakeholder engagement
  • Continuous learning mindset for evolving cloud technologies

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience with data center infra migration, server consolidation, or platform rehosting projects along with shell scripting, batch scripting or PowerShell scripting.
  • Proficiency with tools such as CMDBs, discovery tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Device42), and migration orchestration platforms.
  • Familiarity with network architecture, firewall rules, load balancers, and DNS transition planning.
  • Solid understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, HCX etc), middleware, and enterprise storage.
  • Strong knowledge of application lifecycle management, configuration management, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for cloud deployments and IAC tools like Terraform
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interaction and technical documentation.
  • Continuous learner mindset to keep up with evolving cloud technologies and industry trends.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in migrations involving Chef, Tanium, Red Hat Satellite, NetApp, Ansible, SolarWinds, Sunbird, 1Desk, KillDisk, Thousand Eyes, or similar infrastructure platforms.
  • Exposure to hybrid environments including cloud integration (AWS, Azure, GCP) and co-location facilities.
  • ITIL certification or experience working within an ITIL-aligned organization.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder engagement, and reporting skills.
