About The Program

The Industry Immersion Fellowship at Volvo Group is a unique program that enables university faculty and post-doctoral researchers to gain hands-on industry experience by working full-time with our technical team at Volvo Group.

About The Role

Focus Area:

Java Backend Development (Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices)

Frontend Development using JavaScript (React.js, Angular, Vue.js)

Full Stack Development (MERN, MEAN)

Software Architecture & Design Patterns

Agile and DevOps Practices

Integration with Cloud Platforms ( Azure, GCP)

Eligibility Criteria

Ph.D Pursuing / Ph.D Completed Research Scholars.

Roles & Responsibilities

Collaborate with development teams on real-time software solutions.

Participate in code reviews, sprint meetings, and testing cycles.

Learn and document best practices, frameworks, and tools used.

Co-develop teaching case studies and problem statements for students.

Suggest curriculum enhancements based on current trends.

Deliver a final knowledge transfer presentation and implementation report.
