Razorpay was founded by Shashank Kumar and Harshil Mathur in 2014. Razorpay is building a new-age digital banking hub (Neobank) for businesses in India with the mission is to enable frictionless banking and payments experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes. What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India.

We are a full-stack financial services organisation, committed to helping Indian businesses with comprehensive and innovative payment and business banking solutions built over robust technology to address the entire length and breadth of the payment and banking journey for any business. Over the past year, weve disbursed loans worth millions of dollars in loans to thousands of businesses. In parallel, Razorpay is reimagining how businesses manage money by simplifying business banking (via Razorpay X) and enabling capital availability for businesses (via Razorpay Capital).

Roles And Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing highly efficient solutions on Pubic Cloud (Amazon Web Services) for security, resilience, performance, networking, availability, and Blue-green deployments in the context of business application.
• Assess business needs and requirements to ensure an appropriate approach to solve engineering/infra challenges.
• Improve security posture of cloud infrastructure application/web server against known/unknown vulnerabilities.
• Brings a strong perspective that drives change and motivates engineers to develop simple solutions to complex problems.
• Has the technical capacity and capability to partner with tech leads and architects in problem-solving.
• Involve in recruitment & in the hiring of top-notch Engineering talent for the organization.
• Deliver best-in-class operations tooling & practices, all the way from provisioning, building & managing the prod infrastructure.
• Ensure the team fully understands the goals and objectives of Razorpay as a company and how their work fits into the bigger picture.
• Be responsible for the group’s technical strategy and roadmap – creating success metrics in close collaboration with other groups across the organization in executing initiatives in an agile
  
  
  

• The overall experience of 8+ years in Infrastructure with 5+ years of experience in Cloud (Public, & Private).
• Extensive knowledge of one or more public clouds (AWS preferred)
• Proven ability to plan and execute change on a large scale.
• Engineer at heart: We want leaders who like to be in the thick of things, brainstorming about architecture, technology, researching solutions, etc. Be an architect in the room
• Knowledge of emerging technologies, various platforms, tools, products, and their respective applications.
• Experience with orchestration and containerization tools such as docker container and Kubernetes.
• Configuration Management (Chef, Puppet, or Ansible ) i.e any of them.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments & understanding of Databases such as MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
