The Opportunity

Keyrus is seeking a highly capable Business Analyst / Project Manager (BA/PM) to lead and coordinate an ESG Regulatory Reporting initiative within a leading Global Custody Bank. The candidate will work directly with the Product Owner and a team of 3 Alteryx developers to define, plan, and deliver regulatory reporting requirements in an agile environment.

Location: Bangalore, India

Salary range: 38 to 42 LAKH

Responsibilities

Business Analysis

• Work closely with the Product Owner and business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate ESG regulatory reporting requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories for the development team.
• Liaise between business stakeholders and Alteryx developers to ensure shared understanding of reporting needs and data transformation logic.
• Perform gap analysis on current reporting processes and identify areas for improvement and automation.
  
  

Project Management / Agile Delivery

• Establish and lead the Agile delivery process and Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming).
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, breaking down epics into actionable user stories.
• Track sprint progress, resolve blockers, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Create and maintain project documentation, RAID logs, delivery roadmaps, and reporting dashboards.
• Facilitate alignment between business priorities and technical delivery.
  
  

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the central point of contact between the Product Owner, developers, and other key stakeholders.
• Provide regular status updates to senior stakeholders and manage expectations regarding timelines and deliverables.
• Ensure effective communication across geographically dispersed teams.
  
  

What Were Looking For In Our Applicants

• Proficiency in SQL with extensive experience applying it to data analysis, data modelling, and functional testing.
• 10+ years of experience in Data, BI/Analytics, and Data Warehousing, including a focus on ETL, Data Management, Data Quality, and Data Governance.
• Proven experience as a BA and/or PM on regulatory reporting projects, ideally in ESG or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in setting up and managing Scrum processes.
• Experience working with Alteryx developers or similar ETL/data pipeline teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
  
  

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ESG regulations (e.g., SFDR, TCFD, CSRD, EU Taxonomy).
• Background in custody banking or asset servicing.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, and agile reporting tools.
• Understanding of data lineage, data quality, and control frameworks.
