Our client, a leader in multifunctional materials, drives innovation by designing advanced materials that address complex challenges and meet diverse industry needs, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a remote position, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented team while driving the companys expansion efforts.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. Leveraging your industry knowledge and sales expertise, you will expand our client base within the multifunctional materials sector, addressing complex industry challenges and driving innovation for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence for the client.
  • Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in industries utilizing advanced multifunctional materials, including aerospace, automotive, electronics, and manufacturing sectors.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential partners and distributors to secure new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and product positioning initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive activities.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and generate reports to track progress against goals and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on market developments, business opportunities, and challenges.

About Repserve

At Repserve we lease sales professionals to overseas companies on a shared-time basis, allowing firms to enter new markets or grow in existing ones.

Our Reps have a maximum of 3 complimentary (never competing) clients. They answer all calls and emails at all times but manage their physical client time to suit the time allocation selected by the client.

This role is for an allocation of 25% of your time.

Your day-to-day expenses will be covered (ie petrol, parking, tolls, mobile call charges, etc.) Larger expenses such as international travel, hotels, and large group entertainment should be approved by your client prior to incurring.

Your client will be encouraged to pay a sales commission based on performance. If they choose to do this, the structure of their commission scheme shall be discussed and agreed between you and your client.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science, Materials Science, or a related field (preferably from a UAE-based university).
  • Strong interest in outside sales, including visiting customers, pitching products, and understanding customer needs.
  • Willingness to engage in both cold and hot calling to generate new leads and build customer relationships.
  • Ability to clearly communicate the benefits and competitive advantages (cost, quality) of advanced materials to potential clients.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
