Required Knowledge/Skills (BQ)
Deep knowledge of sourcing practices, spend levers, sourcing principles i.e: multiple stages of RFx (RFx creation, negotiation guides, pricing/costing analysis etc.)
Experience in design and execution of Strategic Sourcing initiatives including RFI / RFP (Request for Information / Request for Proposal) design, development and analysis, and Supplier Negotiation strategy
Understanding of Spend Analysis, Category savings assessment, and Procurement Diagnostics
Contract Management (Working through multiple business stakeholders to take a contract from start to finish, managing contract renewals proactively, quick supplier negotiations)
Supplier Management (Conducting QBRs, managing supplier performance, etc.)
A strong understanding of procurement operations and/or understanding of procurement outsourcing operating model
Experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) platforms such as Coupa, SAP Ariba etc.
Understanding of fundamental principles of P2P including spend and commodity taxonomies, requisitioning, PO generation, receiving and invoice processing
Ability to structure and execute procurement transformation workstreams
Experience with digital tools for procurement analytics and supplier management
Understanding of multiple project workstreams and guiding junior team members
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze large datasets, generate insights, and create clear reports.
Proficiency in using data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to communicate key procurement metrics and KPIs.
Experience in data-driven decision making and translating data insights into actionable strategies.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, pivot tables, and complex formula.
Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint to create impactful presentations for senior stakeholders.
Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint for seamless collaboration and document management.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills *:
Demonstrates some level of abilities and/or a proven record of success as follows:
Experience in managing complex, high-value, or high-risk categories such as IT, logistics, and construction, with a focus on driving sustainable value capture.
