Responsibilities

Required Knowledge/Skills (BQ)

  • Hands-on experience with Appian BPM designing and building business process models, creating and using complex data types, designing SAIL forms, and creating business rules and constants
  • Hands-on development experience on Appian (24x/25x) BPM applications
  • Expert understanding of Appian Objects including Data Store, Data Type, Record Type, Process Model, Process Report, Interface, Report, Site, Portal, Constant, Decision, Expression Rule, Translation Set, Connected System, Integration, Web API, Group, Group Type. Exposure to AI Skill a plus
  • Hands on integration experience including API, JSON, XML, JWT Tokens, OAuth 2.0
  • Hands-on experience in all phases of software development for large-scale business critical applications following Agile methodologies
  • Experience leading and successfully delivering one or more end-to-end Appian BPM implementations (Design/Develop/Deploy/Package)
  • Proficiency in SAIL forms design, process design, SQL & stored procedures / SQL databases, object-oriented programmed, and Service Backed Records
  • Proficiency with relational databases and SQL scripting
  • Proficiency in Appian UX guidelines and Appian plug-ins (including rules engines)
  • Ability to configure Interactions Hub (Appian-based solution) based on defined user stories / business and functional requirements, including Appian process models, embedded controls, and user interfaces
  • Ability to support technical configuration activities including group and security configuration, database rules, validations, calculation logic, and reference data definition

Preferred Knowledge/Skills *:

  • Familiarity in designing, developing / configuring, and testing integrations with Appian
  • Familiarity with web services
  • Ability to configure Interactions Hub to support integrations with integrating systems (with preference for systems including SAP, Docusign / Adobe Sign, common SSO tools (e.g., Okta), and PeopleSoft)
  • Ability to support (and provide inputs into) design discussions to define technical / architectural / integration and business / functional requirements, including the technical design of Interactions Hub system architecture / data model
  • Ability to support required activities to deploy code between environments (e.g., Dev → Test; Test → Prod)
