The Role

Azure Kubernetes Specialist s are the key link between Kyndryl and our clients. Youre in a technical leadership role, uniting and guiding stakeholders from clients, governance, and project executives to delivery and sometimes even the vendors who work with the client. Youll be there from the start of a project - understanding whats needed and figuring out the best technical solution. And youll be there at the finish, delivering the right product on time and within budget.

As an Azure Kubernetes Specialist , youll draw upon the full breadth of your talent and experience. This is a technical leadership role, so we want you to bring your vision, knowledge, and leadership to each project. To the client, youre the subject matter expert - consulting early, gathering inputs, understanding what they need from our solution. You define what Kyndryl can do to meet this solution. You design the best solution for the job. And finally, youre the tech leader for implementation.

Required Technical And Professional Experience

• 7+ years of experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects
• Kubernetes (AKS): Deep understanding of cluster architecture, deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Containerization: Proficiency with Docker, container registries, and image lifecycle management.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins for automated deployments.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Familiarity with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates for AKS provisioning.
• Monitoring & Logging: Tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, and Fluentd.
• Security: Pod security policies, RBAC, secrets management, and network policies
  
  

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Certification in one or more of the hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, and Google GCP) - otherwise, you can obtain certifications with Kyndryl
• Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices
