Automation Test Engineer

What You Will Do

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Performance Test Engineer to join our team. As a Performance Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing, designing, and implementing performance testing strategies, and providing guidance on automation using Java. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the performance of our software systems meet or exceed the required performance standards.

How You Will Do It

As an individual contributor (IC) in this role, your responsibilities may include:

• Design and develop performance test scripts using Java-based tools such as JMeter, BlazeMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
• Work as a team player to create and maintain an automated performance testing framework using Java-based tools
• Work closely with the QA team to ensure performance testing is integrated into the overall testing strategy
• Continuously improve the performance testing processes and methodologies
• Design and develop performance testing strategies to ensure the performance of software systems meet or exceeds the required performance standards.
• Plan, design, and execute performance tests on a variety of systems, including web applications, databases, and APIs.
• Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues in software systems.
• Provide guidance on automation using Java to improve the efficiency and accuracy of performance testing.
• Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain performance testing scripts, test cases, and reports.
• Continuously evaluate and improve performance testing processes and tools.
• Good Experience on CI/CD.
  
  

• 7+ years of experience in performance testing.
• Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies and tools.
• Proficient in automation using Java.
• Good experience with JMeter and Blaze Meter.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
