Job Description Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing responsive marketing emails that drive engagement and conversions. You will work closely with the marketing, design, and product teams to bring campaigns to life through clean, efficient, and accessible code.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive HTML email templates using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to translate visual concepts into functional email campaigns.
• Ensure email compatibility across multiple email clients, devices, and platforms.
• Optimize email performance through A/B testing, dynamic content, and personalization.
• Implement tracking pixels, UTM parameters, and other analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness.
• Maintain and improve email codebase for scalability and reusability.
• Stay up to date with email development best practices, trends, and compliance (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Computer Science or any equivalent education.
• 3+ years of industry work experience.
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS for email development (including inline styles and table-based layouts).
• Working knowledge of JavaScript for dynamic and interactive email elements (where supported).
• Experience with email testing tools (e.g., Litmus).
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, Braze, HubSpot, Net-Results).
• Understanding of email deliverability, accessibility, and responsive design principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot rendering issues across email clients.
• Basic understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance in email marketing
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  
  

• Experience with templating languages (e.g., Handlebars, MJML).
• Knowledge of marketing automation and CRM systems.
• Portfolio of past email campaigns or code samples.
