Product Designer (225-714)

As a Product Designer, you will play a vital role in creating intuitive and aesthetically pleasing digital products that meet the needs of our users. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and other designers, to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience. Your job will include understanding user problem spaces, designing wireframes, building prototypes, and refining designs through iterative testing. Your skillset in UX/UI design principles will be crucial to bringing ideas to life while ensuring that they align with our company’s brand and customer expectations. You will also be expected to stay up to date with the latest design trends and technologies, contributing actively to the ongoing evolution of our products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define and implement innovative solutions.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
• Conduct regular user research and evaluate user feedback to optimize design processes.
• Develop high fidelity designs and prototypes to better illustrate the product experience.
• Stay up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously improve our design processes.
• Present designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders for feedback and approval.
• Work closely with developers to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
• Maintain consistency across all designs and platforms in line with the company’s branding guidelines.
• Participate and contribute to ongoing design team meetings and share ideas for improvement and innovation.
• Document design strategies, processes, and guidelines to facilitate future design projects.
• Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow in their roles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record with significant experience in UX/UI design and user-centered design principles.
• Proficient with design tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of product design projects across different mediums.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate design concepts and solutions to stakeholders.
• Experience working in an agile development environment and fluent in agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about complex user interactions.
