Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging and comprehensive physics lesson plans for students.
• Deliver clear and engaging lectures on fundamental and advanced physics topics.
• Design and conduct laboratory experiments to enhance practical learning in physics.
• Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations regularly.
• Offer additional support and tutoring to students encountering difficulties with physics subjects.
• Integrate technology into the classroom to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
• Maintain a safe and orderly environment during classroom and laboratory activities.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to develop interdisciplinary lesson plans and projects.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational practices.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues about student progress.
• Organize and participate in school-wide science fairs, competitions, and other events.
• Review and recommend new instructional materials and resources for the physics curriculum.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Science Education, or a related field is mandatory.
• State teaching certification or licensing for secondary education is preferred.
• Proven experience teaching physics at the high school or college level is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for teaching science.
• Familiarity with educational technology and laboratory equipment is necessary.
• Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners.
