About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join the Lifeguard team in Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:



  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of lifeguards on duty.
     
  •  Motivate, support and guide the lifeguards to achieve organisational/departmental goals.
     
  • Ensure lifeguards are properly stationed, attentive, and performing their duties according to SOPs.
     
  • Lead the lifeguard team by demonstrating and upholding the brand standards in appearance, conduct, and guest interaction.
     
  • Handle guest concerns or complaints calmly and escalate issues when necessary.
     
  • Monitor all water areas to ensure a safe environment for guests and colleagues.


About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:


  • Certified Ellis and Associates Lifeguard Instructor 

  • 2-3 years lifeguarding experience at a water park or 5-star hotel. (Team leader experience Preferred).

  • Experience of working in an international capacity and a clear understanding of cultural differences showcasing trust and respect for everyone.

  • Practical experience with E&A Standards and ability to uphold EIAC regulations.
