Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team, responsible for maintaining and supporting our organization's technological framework. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the front line of support in ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, hardware, and software by diagnosing and resolving technical issues. You will work closely with our IT team and have the opportunity to interact with all departments within the company, playing a key role in supporting our employees by providing timely and effective solutions to their IT-related problems. Your contributions will ensure that the organization maintains high efficiency and productivity levels.


Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users in a timely manner.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Install, configure, and update computer hardware, software, and networks.
  • Conduct IT training sessions for staff to improve technological skills and awareness.
  • Manage and prioritize a high volume of work to meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Log all support requests and document resolutions in the tracking system.
  • Maintain and ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members on large-scale projects and initiatives.
  • Identify and offer recommendations for technology-related process improvements.
  • Assist in the deployment and maintenance of new systems and applications.
  • Stay updated with recent technological trends and advancements in IT support.
  • Develop and maintain user guides and support documentation for common issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS environments and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with network and server management and related protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to assist users remotely.
  • Experience with help desk and remote support software is highly desirable.
