As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our esteemed guests. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests upon arrival and ensuring they have a seamless check-in experience. You will manage reservations, answer phone inquiries, and provide information about the hotel and its amenities. A friendly and professional demeanor is crucial, as you will be representing the hotel's brand at all times. You will also be responsible for addressing guest queries, coordinating with other hotel departments, and ensuring that guest complaints are quickly and efficiently resolved. Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests with a warm and professional demeanor upon their arrival.
  • Manage phone lines, providing accurate information and handling reservations efficiently.
  • Coordinate guest check-in and check-out processes to ensure seamless experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records of room allocations and guest payments.
  • Assist guests with special requests, such as room service or additional reservations.
  • Update and manage booking details in the hotel’s reservation system diligently.
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance to meet guest needs.
  • Resolve guest complaints promptly, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
  • Inform guests about the hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Process all check-in and check-out procedures accurately and timely.
  • Follow all safety protocols to ensure guest and staff safety at all times.
  • Support the hotel's management team with administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required for applicants.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
