What Success Looks Like In This Role

  • Participate in the overall planning, design and analysis of product requirements
  • Manage releases with good quality
  • Assist teams in developing roadmaps for system and product growth, then identify, plan, and execute projects to support that growth
  • Communication and engagement across teams
  • Drive Agile and DevOps methodologies and behaviors
  • Opportunity to re-architect, build platform from scratch internally
  • Must have experience in building / managing a team of solid product developers
  • Closely monitor and guide product releases/updates
  • Lead, motivate, communicate with, develop, appraise and performance manage team of 15-20 to ensure teams are fully motivated to achieve best performance to meet the company’s needs
  • Attract and retain top engineering talent.

Responsibilities Also Include

  • Ensure adherence to Agile processes and must be enthusiastic about Agile practices and their benefits. He/she is both educator and coach, and must possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Train and develop management and technical leaders within your group must have ability to inspire and motivate.
  • Articulate and communicate a clear technology vision to key stakeholders within the org
  • Bridge communication gaps, align technology vision/goals, and optimize development teams
  • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles and techniques.
  • At all times comply with company policies, procedures and instructions.
  • Implement new ideas and methods and continue to seek ways of both improving contribution to the organization’s goals and enhancing the reputation of the company.
  • Work closely with senior engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for product development
  • Creating artifacts/documentation for project monitoring and tracking and obtain approval from stakeholders
  • Providing input on employee objectives and feedback on performance.
  • Leading efforts of virtual teams. Understand regional cultural considerations and forming tight working relationships.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Graduate / Postgraduate in Engineering and 12 to 16 years experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

0-2 years’ leadership experience

  • Strong functional background in network and security domain.
