AV Technician

The prime function of the AV Technician at Opezee is to manage and operate audio and visual equipment. This role is integral to ensuring corporate events, meetings, and presentations employ state-of-art technology for uncompromised quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, testing, operating, and maintaining audiovisual (AV) equipment used for meetings, conferences, and events.
• Ensuring the AV equipment and services are in excellent working condition for uninterupted communication, collaboration, or presentation.
• Coordinating with event organizers to understand specific requirements and providing comprehensive AV support accordingly.
• Resolving any technical glitches that might occur during the event swiftly and efficiently.
• Training other team members on the use of AV technology, fostering a culture of shared learning and development.
• Performing minor repairs on AV equipment or liaising with vendors for major repairs or maintenance works.
  
  

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role handling AV equipment.
• A relevant diploma or certification in a technical field is preferred.
• Proven working knowledge of professional audio and visual equipment, auxiliary devices, and relevant software applications.
• A keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• A collaborative mindset to work well in a team and exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and external entities.
