The Role:

The Product Owner will report to the Product Manager.

Job Overview:

  • Designs, develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. Serves as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line.
  • Manages the product backlog to achieve an optimal outcome based on the set scope.
  • Assess wishes, define, implement and prioritize the product backlog and manage projects from concept to completion. Responsible for achieving the optimal result, in accordance with the wishes of the stakeholders, as well as according to the defined scope, performance, costs and sprint planning.

What You’ll Do:

  • Product or project planning: Analyzes and determines the current status and status of the objective. Estimates cost-effectiveness, risks, opportunities, strengths and weaknesses with a critical approach. Designs structure plans; draws up timelines and defines milestones. Handles change requests. Determines the scope of delivery and provides an overview of requirements for additional documentation. Draws up a description for the correct handling of products.
  • Project and portfolio management: Implement plans for a change program. Separately plans and manages ICT projects or project portfolios, and monitors coordination and manages interdependent factors. Coordinates projects and develops new, internally or externally defined products to meet defined business requirements. Establishes activities, responsibilities, critical milestones, resources, required skills, interfaces and budgets. Develops scenarios to be able to respond to any implementation problems. Completes the project on time, within budget and in accordance with original requirements. Produces and maintains documents that facilitate the monitoring of project progress.
  • Relationship management: Builds and maintains positive business relationships between customer and provider (internal and external), with application and compliance with the processes applicable in the organization. Maintains regular communication with customers, partners and suppliers and addresses needs with a sense of their environment, and manages supply chain communication. Ensures that needs, concerns or complaints from customers, partners and suppliers are understood and resolved in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Create high quality user stories, collaborating with other Product Owners, UX Designers, and Developers;
  • Strong Stakeholder management by developing and sustaining strong working relationships other organisational peers;
  • Contribute to roadmap definition and analysis, defining system roadmap required to meet core business outcomes, and creating high quality features and user stories to deliver on those outcomes;
  • Ability to manage multiple releases concurrently;
  • You oversee the entire chain and understand that the successful introduction of innovations is highly dependent on the quality of the physical product, the usability and the conversion of the platform;
  • You are a powerful person who can manage the expectations with his knowledge and experience;
  • You have a passion for the profession and would like to share your knowledge with others.
  • You are pragmatic and solution-oriented with structuring and organising qualities;

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree;
  • Minimum 3 years experience as product owner or project manager including one year of experience with the Agile framework;
  • 1+ year of experience delivering software projects;
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills, ability to juggle multiple competing priorities, delegate within team, and ability to work under deadline pressures;
  • Strong communication skills in English (verbal, written, and presentation)
  • Focused on NA customers, USA & Canada, Senior person in the P3 role. Jira stories, visio, drive assigned roadmaps, partner with engg.
  • Fluent in spoken & written English.
  • Work in overlapping US timings - 4:00 pm IST to 2:00 am IST / 7am to 4pm CST
