Job Description

As a Product Manager, you will join the Production Data product management team, with a focus on the UnifyTwin platform and the domain-specific accelerators built on UnifyTwin. You will be reporting to the Business Manager for Production Data in the Visualization and Asset Management business, part of the Software and Control segment. You will work with development teams in India and with professional services teams globally to build new features, prioritise roadmap items, and develop the market. As part of the commercial team supporting the platform, you will build commercial plans and content.

You will report to the Data, AI, Edge & Platform Leader and follow a hybrid working schedule in Bangalore, India.

Your Responsibilities

  • Execute the product and commercial strategy for UnifyTwin to coordinate product features with project schedules to ensure delivery remains on time, scoped, and in budget.
  • Collaborate with product management team and professional services team on commercial strategy of the portfolio.
  • Support professional services teams with information requests, proposal generation, and cybersecurity reviews.
  • Be the commercial lead on customer-facing issues/complaints within the business.
  • Collaborate with product management and competitive intelligence colleagues to monitor trends and competitive threats within target markets to identify and explain their technical impact on both the portfolio and Rockwell Automations strategy and priorities.
  • Collaborate with other members of product team on market Analysis (TAM, SAM) and product positioning.
  • Lead pilot activities with target accounts to validate portfolio offering, create customer references, and build an relevant opportunity funnel for sales to implement.

The Essentials - You Will Have

  • Bachelors Degree.
  • Legal authorization to work in India is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Must be able and willing to travel up to 10% of the time to support on-site customer visits, workshops, and tradeshows.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have

  • Typically requires 5+ years of product marketing, solutions sales or as product owner in a development team.
  • Experience communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners.
  • Knowledge of internet of things solutions for industrial applications and data management.
  • Experience managing and marketing edge-and-cloud-delivered software products.
  • Knowledge of control system design, implementation, commissioning, and support with knowledge of current Rockwell Automation software products.
  • Knowledge of personas and drivers within industrial automation.
  • Experience working with professional services and solution delivery teams.
