Job Description

A Talent Sourcer plays a crucial role in the recruitment process by identifying, engaging, and generating interest from potential candidates. This role involves researching and using various channels to find both active and passive candidates and building pipelines of qualified talents to meet the strategic goals of the organization. A Talent Sourcer works closely with recruiters and hiring managers to develop and implement sourcing strategies. This position requires a keen understanding of recruitment processes and a strategic mindset to anticipate the needs of the organization. As a bridge between the job market and the company, Talent Sourcers need to possess excellent communication skills and be adept at building relationships.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific job needs and requirements.
  • Utilize social media platforms to engage and attract potential candidates.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline by conducting ongoing candidate relationship management.
  • Screen and evaluate the qualifications of candidates for various roles within the organization.
  • Maintain a database of candidate information and recruitment metrics for reporting purposes.
  • Employ data-driven techniques to refine and adjust sourcing strategies for better results.
  • Attend career fairs, networking events, and other outreach activities as needed.
  • Coordinate with recruiters to ensure a smooth handoff of candidates through the hiring process.
  • Promote the company's brand and values to attract potential talent in the marketplace.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition methodologies.
  • Generate creative and innovative sourcing methods to attract top talents in the industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in talent sourcing or recruitment, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Strong ability to use various sourcing tools and platforms, including LinkedIn and other databases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with potential candidates.
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems and other recruitment technologies.
  • A strategic mindset with the capability to forecast staffing needs and develop pipelines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
