Job Description

As a Senior Sales Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the technical support of sales operations. You are expected to serve as the technical bridge between our sales team and potential clients, ensuring that customer interactions are smooth and solutions are accurately tailored to meet their needs. You will leverage your extensive technical expertise and sales acumen to assist with pre-sales support and client needs assessments. Your capability in analyzing client requirements, developing technical proposals, and delivering compelling presentations will be key to our success. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with sales teams, product specialists, and engineers to ensure our offerings align with client needs, ultimately driving growth and client satisfaction. Your ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and inspire confidence in our solutions will be critical.


Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise to the sales team and clients during pre-sales discussions.
  • Analyze and understand client requirements to offer tailored solutions effectively.
  • Develop detailed technical proposals and presentations that showcase our capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design, implement, and execute client solutions.
  • Assist in responding to technical inquiries and resolving client concerns promptly.
  • Support sales teams in achieving their targets by offering expert technical advice.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and highlight key features and benefits to clients.
  • Ensure all sales and support documents adhere to company and industry standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and latest technologies.
  • Identify opportunities for product improvements and report feedback to development teams.
  • Train and mentor junior sales support staff on best practices and technical knowledge.
  • Participate in post-sale follow-up and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales support engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to learn new technologies rapidly.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts clearly.
  • Proven track record of solving complex technical problems for clients effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and other stakeholders efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and support sales efforts.
