Product Designer (225-901)

As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and visually striking designs that enhance user experience and interaction. Your work will be pivotal in shaping the overall direction and success of our products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and product management, to deliver intuitive and aesthetically pleasing design solutions. You will need to combine creativity with an understanding of technical constraints, user needs, and business objectives. Your ability to think critically, stay up to date with industry trends, and adapt your approach to various design challenges will be integral to ensuring our products meet and exceed user expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle, from concept to implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with technical and business requirements.
• Generate sketches, wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to identify user needs and design opportunities.
• Iteratively update and finesse design solutions based on user feedback and data analysis.
• Maintain and develop a coherent visual language across all product touchpoints.
• Work closely with engineers to ensure the technical feasibility of design implementations.
• Stay informed on emerging design trends and tools to ensure the cutting-edge design approach.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high quality of work.
• Clearly communicate design rationale and decisions to stakeholders and team members.
• Create and maintain design system components for consistent user experience across platforms.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio of design projects.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar software.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and user research methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate with teams.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and an understanding of how to work with engineers.
