Manual Tester (225-813)

As a Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will be responsible for executing test cases without the use of automation tools, ensuring our products meet client needs and expectations. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to think critically and analytically, and a strong understanding of standard software testing processes. Reporting to the QA Lead, you will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to identify and resolve defects. Your ability to communicate effectively and work independently, while also being a team player, will be key in delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for software applications.
• Identify defects and inconsistencies in software applications during testing phases.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Document test processes, results, and recommended corrective actions in detailed reports.
• Execute regression testing and verification of bug fixes and new features.
• Work closely with QA Lead to refine testing strategies and ensure process improvements.
• Participate in team meetings and provide insights on quality improvements and risks.
• Monitor application performance and functionality from the user's perspective meticulously.
• Assist in the preparation of user manuals and guides by providing feedback and insights.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and best practices in the industry.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines and deliverables by managing your testing schedule efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to share results and insights.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Manual Tester or similar role in software quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors with clear and concise communication.
• Familiarity with test management software and tools is a plus.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
