Junior Architect (225-822)

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and development of architectural designs and plans.
• Collaborate with senior architects to understand project requirements and objectives.

• Conduct site analyses and assess project feasibility with guidance from seniors.
• Revise drawings and plans based on client feedback and project changes.
• Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to align on project specifications.
• Research and integrate sustainable design principles into architectural projects.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Participate in meetings with clients to present ideas and gather input.
• Maintain a high standard of design quality and attention to detail.
• Support in managing project documentation, schedules, and deliverables.
• Stay current with the latest architectural trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related design field is required.
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design ideas effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of sustainable design and understanding of green building practices.
• Prior internship or work experience in an architectural firm is desirable.
