Job Description

The Product Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies for products. As a key leader in the sales team, the Product Sales Manager is responsible for managing the sales cycle, building strong relationships with customers, and identifying opportunities to optimize sales performance. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive product sales and market growth.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to align sales strategies with demand.
  • Manage and lead the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to drive repeat business.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to convert prospects successfully.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure product offerings meet customer needs.
  • Monitor competitor activities to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare detailed sales forecasts and reports for management review and decision making.
  • Ensure rapid resolution of customer issues to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Develop and present sales training programs to enhance team skills and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to align sales initiatives with marketing campaigns.
  • Evaluate sales team performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in a related industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a diverse sales team.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales performance data effectively.
  • Deep understanding of sales processes, forecasting, and market dynamics.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
