Autocad designer (225-805)

Responsibilities

• Create detailed drawings and layouts using AutoCAD software based on project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop design solutions that meet requirements.

• Assist in the development of prototypes and models for presentation and testing purposes.
• Update and maintain design records, drawings, and project files consistently.

• Ensure all designs are completed within intended project timelines and budgets.
• Conduct site visits to understand project requirements and gather necessary design data.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in AutoCAD technology and practices.
• Offer technical support and guidance to junior designers and drafting staff as required.
• Ensure collaboration across relevant departments to facilitate a streamlined design process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in AutoCAD design and drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software such as Revit or SketchUp.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, building materials, and construction methods.
• Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings and designs.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in 3D modeling and rendering will be considered an advantage.
