The role of a Property Acquisition Executive is pivotal in the realm of real estate, where acquiring and expanding property portfolios is key to business growth. As a Property Acquisition Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing prime real estate opportunities. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of the real estate market, excellent negotiation skills, and a strategic approach to property procurement. You will work closely with a team of experts, including appraisers, legal advisors, and finance professionals, to ensure acquisitions meet the strategic objectives of the organization. Success in this position is measured by your ability to execute transactions efficiently while minimizing risk and maximizing value.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate potential properties for acquisition based on strategic goals.
  • Conduct thorough market research to assess property values and trends.
  • Negotiate purchase terms and conditions with property owners and agents effectively.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare financial models and scenarios to assess potential acquisition outcomes.
  • Manage due diligence processes to validate property information and feasibility.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with real estate agents and industry stakeholders.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for executive management on acquisition opportunities.

  • Monitor and report on acquisition performance and analyze strategic fit within the portfolio.
  • Stay updated on emerging market trends and regulatory changes impacting property acquisitions.
  • Evaluate risks associated with potential acquisitions to ensure sound investment decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in property acquisition or a similar role in real estate.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and strong understanding of real estate contracts.
  • Ability to analyze real estate markets and perform financial valuations accurately.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for identifying viable investment options.
  • Proficiency in using real estate management software and other related tools.
