Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage service department effectively and efficiently.

  • Train, mentor, and guide junior staff members to improve service quality and productivity.
  • Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate supply of food and beverage items.
  • Develop and implement service policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor financial performance, implementing cost control measures when necessary.
  • Arrange staff schedules, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization of resources.
  • Collaborate with management to develop new service strategies and promotional activities.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, feedback, and operational goals.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality products.

Requirements

  • A proven track record with at least three years in food and beverage services.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective guest interaction and staffing coordination.
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage products, techniques, and industry standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
