Job Description

A Social Media Executive plays a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the online presence of a company or organization. This position involves the creation, management, and optimization of social media campaigns across various platforms to enhance brand awareness, increase customer engagement, and drive online traffic. The Social Media Executive needs to possess a deep understanding of each social media platform's unique characteristics and audience preferences. They are responsible for crafting compelling content, analyzing trends and metrics, and developing strategies to reach target audiences effectively. The ideal candidate should be creative, technically savvy, and have a passion for social media trends and the digital marketing landscape.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Manage daily social media content creation, scheduling, and distribution across platforms.
  • Engage with the audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency in all communications.
  • Analyze social media metrics to assess campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and implement best practices.
  • Create and curate multimedia content, including images, videos, and graphics, to enhance engagement.
  • Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns to boost reach and engagement.
  • Stay current with changing social media trends and emerging platforms to remain competitive.
  • Report on social media performance to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  • Foster community relationships by initiating and maintaining conversations with followers.
  • Coordinate with PR and marketing teams to support companywide initiatives and campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience managing social media platforms for a brand or organization.
  • Strong understanding and practical knowledge of social media analytics and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Creativity and skill in designing engaging content that attracts attention.
  • Ability to analyze data and formulate actionable insights for improvements.
  • Experience with social media advertising, including budgeting and reporting.
