Job Description

The Business Support Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of the business by providing administrative and logistical support to various departments. This position is integral to maintaining the smooth workflow of daily office functions. By handling a wide range of responsibilities, the Business Support Associate contributes to the overall productivity of the organization. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision. As the glue that holds various functions together, the Business Support Associate is expected to demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team setting, contributing toward achieving the organization’s objectives and ensuring client and employee satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing administrative tasks to support day-to-day office operations efficiently.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for management and staff.
  • Maintain and update company databases with accurate and timely information entry.
  • Prepare and distribute internal communications, including memos and emails.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of office policies and procedures.
  • Support project management and logistics for cross-departmental initiatives and events.
  • Handle basic bookkeeping tasks, including expense reporting and invoice processing.
  • Provide assistance in HR functions, such as onboarding and maintaining personnel records.
  • Ensure office supplies are stock and facilitate the procurement process for new supplies.
  • Facilitate communication between different departments to streamline operations.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department or resource.
  • Assist in researching and obtaining data for reports and presentations required by management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative or business support role for at least two years.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
  • High organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment seamlessly.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in all tasks and responsibilities.
  • Experience in handling confidential information with discretion required.
