Job Description

The Social Media Executive plays a crucial role in enhancing the online presence of a company by implementing various content strategies across social media platforms. This dynamic role encompasses crafting and executing engaging social media content, increasing brand awareness, and driving user engagement through various social media channels like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others. As a Social Media Executive, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop social media campaigns that align with corporate strategies and objectives. You will also be responsible for monitoring emerging social media trends and technologies to ensure that the organization stays ahead of the curve. Your analytical skills will be essential for measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of social media marketing efforts, allowing for continuous improvement based on data-driven insights.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cohesive social media strategies across all platforms.
  • Create, curate, and manage published content on various social media channels.
  • Engage with followers and respond promptly to inquiries on social media.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a ‘social’ way while cultivating a community.
  • Oversee design of social media pages to align with the brand’s appearance.
  • Utilize social media analytical tools to track metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Identify and evaluate new digital technologies and use web analytics tools.
  • Prepare reports and provide insights on campaign performance and improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
  • Maintain brand consistency in copy through tone, voice, and terminology.
  • Foster and nurture relationships with social media influencers for collaborations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven working experience as a social media executive or similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in content management and social media tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media KPIs and how to exceed them.
  • Creative mindset with excellent multitasking skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, copywriting, and editing skills in English.
