Join our dynamic automotive service team as a Service Advisor, where you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers. In this role, you will utilize your excellent communication skills and mechanical knowledge to serve our clients by guiding them through their vehicle maintenance and repair process. You’ll be tasked with providing advice on necessary actions, cost estimates, and maintenance schedules to ensure the best customer satisfaction and service quality. As a Service Advisor, your expertise will be instrumental in helping customers make informed decisions about their vehicle care and providing an exceptional level of customer service that fosters customer loyalty and trust. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and courteously upon their arrival to the service department.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and document diagnostic information for repair analysis.
  • Clearly communicate repair details and maintenance recommendations to customers.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and obtain authorization from customers for services.
  • Liaise with technicians to ensure timely completion of repair works and services.
  • Update customers regularly on their vehicle service status and any changes.
  • Submit accurate service orders, forms, and invoices in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate service records and manage the paperwork for each customer interaction.
  • Resolve customer issues, complaints, and questions effectively and efficiently.
  • Upsell additional services or repairs with confidence and integrity when appropriate.
  • Stay knowledgeable about the latest automotive technologies and service procedures.
  • Provide feedback on the service department performance and suggest improvements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in auto servicing preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar Service Advisor role in the automotive industry.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for customer interaction.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical knowledge in automotive services.
  • Proficiency with computer applications related to automotive servicing and customer management.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Customer-service orientation with a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
