The Sales Application Engineer plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between customer needs and technical solutions. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
  • Conduct detailed technical presentations and demonstrations for clients and prospects.

  • Develop and maintain product specifications and application guidelines to aid sales processes.
  • Work alongside R&D departments to communicate customer needs and expectations.
  • Respond efficiently to customer queries, ensuring high satisfaction and engagement levels.
  • Identify new sales opportunities through client needs analysis and detailed feedback.
  • Assist in the customization of products to meet specific customer demands and requirements.
  • Prepare technical proposals and bid documents, ensuring alignment with client specifications.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Participate in trade shows and exhibitions to present the company’s products and solutions.
  • Ensure seamless handover of sales leads to project implementation teams for smooth execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, such as sales engineering.
  • Proven experience in a technical sales support or engineering role for several years.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to resolve customer queries and customize solutions.
  • Proficient in creating technical documentation and specifications for client projects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve sales and product alignment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally to meet clients and attend events.
