A Project Manager- Technical plays a pivotal role in overseeing and driving the success of IT and technical projects from initiation through to implementation and completion. The Project Manager not only ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget but also guarantees alignment with technical specifications and company goals. This role demands someone who is results-oriented and possesses great leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, allowing them to manage projects effectively while collaborating with engineers, developers, and other stakeholders. The Project Manager- Technical is a critical link between the technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical requirements and deliverables into understandable goals for both sides, ensuring that resources are utilized efficiently, and risks are managed proactively.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans that align with client and business objectives.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
• Manage resource allocation and project budgets, tracking expenses and projections.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors and stakeholders.
• Mitigate project risks and devise contingency plans to ensure project success.
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs effectively.
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
• Facilitate regular project reviews and prepare reports for senior management.
• Capture and document technical requirements for achieving business objectives.
• Lead teams by providing clear communication, innovative thinking, and proactive solutions.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to determine areas for future improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related technical field.
• Proven working experience as a Project Manager in Information Technology sectors.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in project management software tools.
• Excellent client-facing, teamwork, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead teams under strict deadlines.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a significant advantage.
