Job Description

The Lead Analyst - Loan Operations plays a critical role in the effective management and operational excellence of the loan operations department. This position is integral to the seamless processing, analysis, and administration of loan applications, approvals, and maintenance. The Lead Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the team complies with industry regulations and standards, while continuously striving to improve operational workflows and efficiencies. The role requires strong analytical skills and an in-depth understanding of loan operations and financial products. The successful candidate will work closely with other departments to support a wide range of loan-related activities, from origination to post-closing, ensuring they align with corporate objectives and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team dedicated to loan operations management and analysis.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the loan processing unit efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with loan-related regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline loan processing workflows.
  • Monitor loan processing activities to improve accuracy and timeliness dynamically.
  • Analyze loan portfolio data to identify trends and potential risk factors.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless loan processing.","

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • At least 5 years experience in loan operations or a related sector.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams in an operational capacity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive understanding of loan processing systems and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan management software.
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment effectively.
