Job Description

As an IT Support professional, you will be vital in ensuring the seamless operation of an organization's computer systems and networks. Your knowledge and expertise will be critical in helping users solve technology-related issues swiftly and efficiently. You will provide support to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and ensure system efficiency. You will work closely with other IT team members to enhance the IT environment and infrastructure of the organization. As our IT support personnel, you need to stay updated with the latest developments in technology to provide cutting-edge support to users. Your role involves understanding technical issues and communicating them effectively to end-users, ensuring quick resolutions and minimal disruptions to work processes.


Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end-users over the phone, email, or in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues systematically and efficiently.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any system inefficiencies or outages.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to support network infrastructure.
  • Maintain documentation of support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Install, upgrade, and maintain computer hardware and software applications.
  • Coordinate with vendors for warranty repairs or troubleshooting hardware faults.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in a networking environment.
  • Provide training and support to staff on technology systems and software applications.
  • Assist in maintaining and managing organization-wide IT security protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure systems are running efficiently.
  • Conduct regular system audits to identify potential issues or improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a technical support or IT support role.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues efficiently and accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and technology tools in the industry.
  • Experience with IT help desk software and remote support tools is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
