Automation Test Engineer (225-812)

As an Automation Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test scripts to improve the efficiency and coverage of our testing processes. Working closely with the development and product teams, you will identify testing needs, analyze test results, and troubleshoot any automation issues. Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts using relevant tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify testing requirements.
• Enhance and maintain the existing automation frameworks to improve test coverage.
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results for accuracy and performance.
• Identify, document, and track software defects in collaboration with the development team.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and risk analysis activities with stakeholders.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best testing practices and standards.
• Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving automation-related issues promptly.
• Continuously research and recommend enhancements to improve testing efficiency.
• Train and mentor junior team members on test automation best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous integration and deployment processes through automation.
• Develop comprehensive test documentation, including test plans and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, like Java or Python.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software systems effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
