Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet the company’s high standards of quality and consistency. Your keen eye for detail and thorough understanding of industry quality standards will help you identify potential issues before they reach the customer, thus maintaining the company’s reputation for excellence. You will work closely with production teams, offering insights and recommendations for product improvements. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and an ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for quality and a commitment to upholding the integrity of our products.


Responsibilities

  • Inspect raw materials to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Monitor production lines to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports for management review.
  • Liaise with production teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Verify the functionality of measuring tools and equipment used during inspections.
  • Check and test product samples for compliance with technical specifications.
  • Implement quality control processes to meet company and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in creating and updating quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct internal audits and share feedback with relevant stakeholders.
  • Train and guide production staff on quality standards and inspection processes.
  • Identify areas of improvement in the production process to enhance product quality.
  • Ensure the workspace is maintained in a clean and organized condition.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a quality inspection role.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety and quality standards and regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions.
  • Certification in Quality Control (CQC) will be considered an asset.
