Job Description

As an Order Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless processing and fulfillment of orders within our company. Your expertise in managing the order lifecycle—from receipt through delivery—ensures our customers receive their products accurately and on time. You will work closely with various departments such as sales, logistics, and customer service to coordinate and streamline operations, ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction. Your technical prowess in utilizing order management systems will be crucial in identifying issues, optimizing processes, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the supply chain. You will need to be detail-oriented, possess strong problem-solving skills, and thrive in a dynamic work environment.


Responsibilities

  • Process and monitor customer orders accurately through the entire lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with sales, logistics, and other departments to ensure order fulfillment.
  • Verify order details and customer information to avoid processing errors.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to order discrepancies or delays promptly.
  • Utilize order management software to track and update status on orders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations during order processing.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on order trends to drive improvements in service efficiency.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide updates in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, and correspondence with clients.
  • Collaborate with IT to address system issues and implement enhancements.
  • Train new team members in order management processes and software usage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an order management or supply chain role.
  • Proficiency in order management software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are mandatory for success.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.
  • Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools is highly desirable.
