Architect (225-813)

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Architect to join our team and contribute to the planning and design of our construction projects. As an Architect, you will be responsible for designing new buildings, extensions, alterations, restorations, and conservations from the earliest stages right through to completion. You will be working closely with clients, engineers, and other architects to ensure that designs meet the specifications, needs, and expectations while considering the practicality and overall functionality. With an eye for detail and a knack for sustainable and efficient design, you will bring creativity and technical proficiency to each project, ensuring compliance with the regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to determine requirements and preferences for projects.
• Develop design proposals and present to clients for approval and input.
• Prepare and present feasibility reports and design proposals to clients.
• Ensure all projects comply with local laws, codes, and regulations.
• Work collaboratively with a team of engineers and architects on building design elements.
• Advise on building materials and construction methods for sustainable design.
• Create detailed layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and drawings.
• Oversee the construction phase to ensure adherence to architectural plans.
• Manage project timelines and budgets with a focus on cost-efficiency.
• Regularly visit construction sites to monitor progress and resolve project challenges.
• Keep up-to-date with technological advancements in architecture and design.
• Prepare contracts and manage project documentation throughout project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Licensed or registered architect with valid certifications to practice.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional architectural experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong proficiency with CAD, Revit, and other architectural software tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for client interaction.
• Familiarity with sustainability and green architecture principles is desirable.
