Were seeking a skilled Backend Developer proficient in Node.js to join our core tech team. Youll work closely with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences and robust interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side application logic to power web and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers to seamlessly integrate UI components with backend APIs
• Write clean, modular, testable, and maintainable code following best practices.s
• Ensure applications are highly performant, scalable, and reliable with low latency.
• Implement robust security and data protection mechanisms across services and endpoints.s
• Integrate and manage data storage solutions such as MySQL, MongoDB, or other relevant databases
• Optimise codebase and database queries for efficiency, uptime, and cost-effectiveness
  
  

• 2+ years of professional experience with Node.js and its core ecosystem
• Strong experience with ReactJS, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
• Working knowledge of MongoDB and data storage best practices
• Familiar with Express.js and RESTful API design
• Experience with Python is a strong plus
• Proficiency in Git, Linux environments, and shell scripting
• Understanding of authorisation, access control, and data protection principles
• Ability to model business logic into efficient database schemas
• Experience building scalable applications optimised for performance and uptime
