Alteryx Developer - Data Analytics

Role Description

As an Alteryx Developer on the team, you will have the opportunity to work on various client engagements, delivering data analytics solutions using Alteryx.

Your primary focus will be to assist clients in transforming business and functional requirements into deployable solutions.

This includes preparing and blending data, designing workflows, and implementing analytics using Alteryx.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and objectives, translating business needs into effective Alteryx workflow solutions.
• Design, build, and optimize Alteryx workflows for data preparation, blending, and automation.
• Develop macros (Batch, Iterative, Standard) and workflows using enterprise-level data.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure performance tuning of workflows.
• Document workflows clearly, following best practices for knowledge sharing.
• Assist in developing and maintaining data visualization dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Analyze stakeholder problems and translate them into clear business objectives.
• Create analytics solutions that support optimal decision-making and deliver immediate value.
• Regularly interact with internal customers and stakeholders to gather business use case requirements.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and foster strong relationships.
• Contribute to the development and execution of data analytics strategies, playing a key role in internal organizational initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  
  

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or a related field.
• 2 - 5 years of hands-on experience as an Alteryx Designer (experience with Alteryx Server preferred).
• Alteryx Designer Advanced Certification (Expert level is a plus).
• Strong experience in data manipulation, cleansing, and transformation.
• Proficiency in SQL (Teradata, BigQuery, Hive, or Spark).
• Exposure to visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Solid understanding of data analytics concepts and methodologies, with proficiency in data manipulation, cleansing, and transformation using Alteryx.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation from sources like Teradata, BigQuery, Hive, and Spark.
• Good knowledge of Excel and scripting (Python or R preferred).
• Nice-to-have: experience with SAP, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
