UI/UX Designer (225-813)

As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the user experience and interface of digital products, ensuring that they are not only visually appealing but also intuitive and efficient. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other designers, to transform user needs into accessible and innovative design solutions. You will be responsible for the entire design process; from understanding user needs through research, developing wireframes and prototypes, to creating final polished interfaces. Your role is central in defining how users interact with a product, translating complex ideas into simple, engaging user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research to understand user needs and behaviors thoroughly.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
• Design user interface elements such as menus, tabs, and widgets effectively.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate site functionality.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement solutions.
• Translate complex design problems, user pain points, and research findings into practical design solutions.
• Define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction and visuals.
• Ensure designs adhere to any specified branding guidelines and standards.
• Iterate designs based on user feedback and usability testing results.
• Work alongside engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented correctly.
• Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and techniques in UI/UX design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio of projects.
• Familiarity with design software and wireframe tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a user-centered design approach.
• Ability to present designs and sell solutions to various stakeholders convincingly.
• Experience with responsive and interactive design standards and best practices.
