Responsibilities

• Develop detailed structural designs and plans based on project specifications and guidelines.
• Conduct structural analysis to confirm safety, stability, and durability of designs.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to refine project requirements.
• Review and approve specifications and drawings for new and existing project designs.
• Use CAD software and other engineering tools to create innovative design solutions.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Prepare detailed calculations, reports, and documentation for project submissions.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure design phases are completed on schedule.
• Provide technical guidance and support during the construction phase of projects.
• Conduct on-site evaluations to monitor project progress and resolve engineering issues.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, including materials and construction techniques.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Revit, for design purposes.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, codes, and construction standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in engineering designs.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• Certification or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Experience working with both traditional and modern construction materials and methods.
