Job Description

The Sales Manager - Flooring is a key position responsible for driving sales growth and increasing market share for our flooring products. This role requires a dynamic and strategic leader who can manage a high-performing sales team, develop comprehensive sales plans, and establish long-lasting relationships with clients. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the flooring industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management. As the Sales Manager, you will collaborate closely with the marketing and product development departments to ensure alignment in strategy and execution. Your ability to analyze market trends, construct competitive strategies, and deliver on sales targets will be critical to success in this role. Additionally, you will be expected to motivate and mentor your sales team to reach their full potential, fostering a culture of collaboration and high achievement.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the flooring division.
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key clients.
  • Analyze market trends to anticipate client needs and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Manage sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics effectively.
  • Conduct regular training and development sessions for the sales team.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive sales reports and presentations for management.
  • Liaise with product development to communicate customer feedback and market demands.
  • Ensure that the sales team adheres to company policies and ethical standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to maximize profit margins.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote company offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in sales management within the flooring industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a successful sales team.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
