Job Description

As a Purchase Executive, you will be an integral part of the procurement team, ensuring that the company acquires goods and services at optimal prices while maintaining quality standards. You will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and overseeing purchasing processes to support the operational needs of the organization. The Purchase Executive must possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to make informed decisions that align with the company's budget and timeline. Your role will also involve strategizing to reduce procurement costs and improve overall efficiency. This position demands excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the capacity to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Identify potential suppliers and maintain relationships with current vendors.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers and service providers.
  • Analyze market trends to forecast procurement needs and anticipate price fluctuations.
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet production schedules.
  • Assess supplier performance and provide feedback for improvements and compliance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate reorder processes as necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment on purchasing requirements.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Review and resolve any discrepancies with invoices and purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
  • Conduct regular audits of procurement processes to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Purchase Executive or in a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build productive relationships with vendors.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills to evaluate supplier proposals.
  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and sound business acumen.
